Water Conference in Bacalar, Mexico, on the 28th of March 2025. The event was an immersive visual narrative led by astrophysicist Dr. Alex Ling and microbiologist Mercury Amarilis, who shared insights into the origin of water and the ancient stromatolites of Laguna Bacalar. While mayan elders performed rituals to honor the water, Dr. Ling presented the Community Water Laboratory, a social initiative he is establishing in Bacalar to raise awareness and educate about the sacred importance of this ecosystem.
